Christine Hanna, LCSW
Christine Hanna (#82185) is a licensed clinical social worker who earned her Masters degree in Social Work from the prestigious program at the University of Southern California. She has been practicing social work since 2001, and has comprehensive experience working with individuals with OCD, anxiety, PTSD, at-risk youth, and people experiencing stress due to major life transitions.
Christine joins the Beachfront Anxiety Specialists team with extensive agency and clinical experience. In addition to her work at Beachfront, she currently serves as a program director for a local boutique residential treatment center for individuals with more severe OCD and anxiety struggles. She integrates exposure and response prevention, acceptance and commitment therapy, and psychoanalytic methods to help her clients feel immediate relief from symptoms while being able to navigate her clients through deeper work to affect long lasting change.
Beachfront Anxiety Specialists is excited to have Christine on the team, as she excels at providing a warm, compassionate, and safe space for her clients while gently guiding them to make actionable and meaningful change to their lives. Christine’s years of experience and her professional background allows her to adeptly pull from various science-backed treatment modalities to help her clients overcome barriers they may have faced in previous treatment and to feel empowered to stand up to OCD and reclaim their lives.
In her free time, Christine enjoys going on walks with her two dogs, traveling, and working on her passion of photography.
